She said she felt bad and hadn't lost any weight.<br />Soon, I told her stop that. Eat meat and eggs and just walk at a normal pace.<br /> I gave her a lot of support. I'm hopeful but it is so ingrained in our heads. Any more than a little bit of fruit is a no-go. So it irks me when I hear women (it's always women) in the paleo community preach "tons of fruits and veggies!" It's carbohydrates (especially complex ones) that cause gas and bloating. <br /><br />It's also annoying to hear some of the same people preaching "whole, unprocessed foods!" talking about fermenting or eating what great-grandma ate.
